TURNITIN SIMILARITY: Allow students to upload papers via a submission link

by | Blog, Turnitin

If you require students to upload submissions directly to a folder, you can either create a new folder or edit an existing one and designate a direct submission link to it. This will assign the chosen folder with a unique URL link that you can share with your students to submit to.

Introducing Turnitin Originality

Each student can submit multiple times using the shared URL link until the link expiry date and time have both passed.

Students will receive a submission receipt for each successful submission but will not receive a Similarity Report. Reports will only be available to the creator of the folder.

To find out more about this feature, please visit our instructor’s guidance here.

If you do not see the option to allow direct submissions in a folder, please contact your account administrator as this feature must be enabled at the institutional account level before it can be used.

Please note: This feature is only available to customers using the Turnitin Originality, Turnitin Similarity, or SimCheck services not Turnitin Feedback Studio.
